So, all of the attacks against Governor Palin are having an effect...only the opposite of what the Democrats want. Instead of destroying the credibility of McCain and Palin, they are showing the MSM to be wholly in the tank for Obama. They are also driving hordes of Reagan Democrats and Independents into the Republican camp, because of the offensive methods they are using to try to destroy Governor Palin.
Even the latest attempt at making McCain look "out of touch" has backfired because it shows how low they are willing to stoop to try to make points. McCain can't use email...because he can't use a keyboard! His injuries from Vietnam prevent him from being able to type. Are the Democrats so ignorant that they don't know this? Or are they hoping the general public doesn't connect the dots? No such luck.
Charles Gibson's latest attempt on ABC the last couple of nights has only served to highlight Governor Palin's experience and poise under pressure...far from making her into the next "Dan Quayle" or "country hick". He was condescending and over-the-top in his trying to manufacture a "gotcha" moment to obtain a soundbite that would make Mrs. Palin look stupid. She did not oblige...and that is really driving them crazy. On the other hand, Charles has only served to anger many in "flyover country" who personally feel insulted by the belittling she received.
Here is proof that the attacks aren't working in the Democrat's favor: The Generic Democrat/Repulican Poll from Gallup shows that people are waking up to the vapidity of the Democrat party and their minions in the MSM. The numbers are significantly shifting in the Republican direction:

This is not a time to lose sight of the ball and to let our guard down. If Republicans are to win in November, they must keep their focus on the direction they want to take the country versus where we'll end up if the Democrats have their way. "Lipstick" and "pigs" will only take us so far. Facts and Vision will carry us the rest of the way....EITS
